Dubbo BUG A social bike support group to share and encourage our interest in the sport of bike riding, for old and new riders alike.
Back of Bourke Ride for Cancer 2017, spanning three days, 375kms and three rivers between Dubbo and Bourke, the riders will be raising awareness and monies to fund a room at Macquarie Home Stay. Their goal is to raise $30,000, they reached their goal then set the challenge to the Dubbo and surrounding communities to raise another $36,000 for a second room. They did it, a total of $63,930 raised. Congratulations to the organisers: Sheri Dunn and Christine Reynolds, participants: 26 riders and the community of Dubbo and surrounding areas. Well done!
Of the 26 riders, 3 are BUGs riders: Mick and Kerrie Cooper, and Kath Wilkinson; well done guys!
